West Side Story de Bernstein en édiiton limitée CD + DVD + Livre, bande originale Vinyle
West Side Story est à l'origine une comédie musicale créée en 1957 par Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim et Arthur Laurents. La première a eu lieu au Winter Garden Theatre a Broadway. Après avoir été l'un des plus gros succès du Brodway des années 50, Robert Wise adapte cette comédie musicale inspirée de Roméo et Juliette, au cinéma en 1961. Le film obtient un succès phénoménal et reste, encore aujourd'hui, considéré comme l'un des plus grands films du cinéma Américain et devient classé dans le Top 100 des meilleurs films américains de l'American Film Institute. West Side Story est tous simplement la comédie musicale la plus populaire du XXème siècle.
En 1984 Leonard Bernstein décide de reprendre sa comédie dans une nouvelle représentation avec Kiri Te Kanawa et José Carreras dans les rôles principaux. Cette nouvelle "version" est acclamée dans la presse spécialisée du monde entier.
