The Band est un groupe de rock formé dans les années 60 par Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel et Rick Danko. Au début de sa carrière The Band (discographie en bas de page) suit régulièrement les tournées de Bob Dylan ce qui les propulse sur le devant de la scène.

Alors que le groupe se sépare plusieurs fois, il enregistre une sorte de concert d'adieu "The Last Waltz" (La dernière Valse) en 1976  qui restera inscrit comme l'un des plus grands et des plus beaux concerts de l'histoire du Rock ! Filmé par Martin Scorsese, The Band invite, pour l'occasion, les plus grandes stars du moment ! The Last Waltz sera le dernier concert de The Band avant leur reformation en 1993 !!!

A travers un concert de plus de 4h vous retrouverez les plus grands noms du rock : Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Paul Butterfield,  Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Neil Young et  !!!
