Le résumé : En 2030, Le Major Motoko Kusanagi, une cyborg de l'unité d’élite anti-criminelle (la section 9) se consacre à la traque d'un criminel se faisant appelé le "Marionnettiste"(ou Puppet Master en VO). A l'aide du Réseau Numérique mondial (l'internet du futur) ce Cybercriminel va pouvoir contrôler l’esprit des humains.....
